Well saturday was less then fun, as you can imagine. :-P At least the first parts of it. The part where I was at that blasted education at my work... on my day off... *grumble* At those times it sure shows how young people are at the company. I am 30, and there were 2 ladies in there 40s-50s. The rest were around 20... a bit more or a bit less. And it showed. They could never shut up!!!! GAH! Espcielly one of them, and once he started the rest jumped on the train. I had a head-ache within an hour, and I never get headaches otherwise... Telling, ain't it?

Well, I survived and when I got home I saw Peting had bought me roses... Awwww... *smiles* He ain't romantic. Not at all. But he does try now and then. :-) Sure brightened my day a bit.

It was LARP this saturday, so it was a bit stressful for us to get our things together once Peting had picked me up, showed me the roses and got the smooch he so very much deserved for being awesome and gotten dinner and ironed the clothes for the evening... Phew! I did mention it got a bit stressful, yes? :-) Well, we made it, that we did. :-)

And the LARP was great! Since the last LARP we played 15 years had passed, so naturally I had to do something different this time, so I decided Rose has changed her dress-sense. Instead of the dress with flowers all over, she now wears a proper black skirt and a proper blouse. Like a proper lady, eh? ;-) _devilcandy_, who plays Roses childe, also had a change in dress. Her character was newly embraced the last time we played, and this time she'd been a vampire for 15 year! Naturally she still lives with her mother Rose under her watchful eyes, but she has a little bit more freedom with a club of her own (Torture Garden, she calls it, a burlesque and fetish club...), and a collegue she works with. So, I plan on making a huge vampire-party a bit further down the line where Rose will officially set her childe free on her own two feet so that she'll have to take resoponsilibitly of herself. (At the moment she is Rose's responsibility... and has been for 15 years.) It was a very fun LARP and I have planted a bit more seeds for more intrigue and plotting, and two new servents. Rose has a bit more power now, and... a suiter.... I wonder what his motives are? Really... *ponders*

And now I am off to fix some of my photo-albums and to see the movie Robin Hood Prince of Thieves on TV. An old favorite of mine! :-D Here's hoping for a better next week. :-)

My day was not fun at work today. I came there in quite a good mood, at 2pm (I worked until 8pm). And got grabbed by one of the group-leaders telling me in a sweet tone: "By the way. You gotta come to work tomorrow for some education between 9am to 4pm."

....

SAY WHAT!?`!?? I had plans for tomorrow! Sorry I have a gawd damn life! *swears* GAH! Seeing how angry I got, she patted me smiling. "Sorry, it is orders from the top, everyone needs this education."

OK. I can buy that. BUT TELL US A BIT SOONER GAWD DAMMIT!!

Lets change the subjec totally. :-P Sorry about my emo-post the other day. There is just some things that are important you know? It is a bit ironic that I saw that documentary and then that whole wank about the Holocaust burst up at the same time. Trust me, my post had NOTHING to do with the wank. It was just my feelings after seeing that documentary.

Right. On to more fun things.

Like my four days off I had. BLISS! :-D So wonderful. I had two days where I just took strolls around downtown, shopping a little.

And on friday night all hell broke lose... X-D Just kidding. ;-) Me and spicehobbit haven't had an all-nighter just the two off us being insanely silly as just two really old friends can be. So we figured it was time for that. And what a night it turned out to be!

Started at Che La mie (now how the hell was that spelled again?!?!!), a really, really great restaurant with WONDERFUL food! Not to expensive, but damn... Its good. :-) Three coarse dinner and some really nice wine, and then off to the city to see whats happening at the pubs. Our first choice, Bishop Arms, was so full, there was no chance we'd stay there. Second choice, there were near no people at all, and we got an admirare there, we didn't really want. ;-) Damn he was drunk... Near to fell off his chair! *laughs* So, off we went to the next place, Brasseriet. Not full, not empty. Just enough with people. A bit on the older side, but that didn't matter. The music was a blast, and they had redone there enteriour, so it looked real nice to. We had a BLAST! :-D Dancing and drinking drinks all night long. Drinks on the menu that evening was oldies from when we were really young and started going on pubs and clubs. :-) So much fun! And now... Prepare for a few silly photo's.....

So, that was fun. Then on saturday we were at a baptism of the daugheter of Petings best friend, Kiltfan. She is so CUTE!!! Linnea she was named. She is going to turn out great, I just know it. Her mother, who were so very... annoying while pregnant turned out to be alright once she had Linnea. :-) So, all good on that front to. Now at least I can have conversations with her, without being annoyed. :-P He he... Only bad thing on saturday was that I was... slightly hungover. Not to bad, just feeling slightly depressed, and sooooo tired! But come afternoon/evening I felt better so I helped Kiltfan and M clean up. Guess where the party after the church was held? Yep. At the Student Union Pub. :-D Anyone suprised who knows them? Didn't think so. *smirk*

Sunday on the other hand was just about being lazy ass. Oh yes indeed. Damn, did I need that. Having four days off? Well, four busy days. :-) But good days. He he he...

Monday and yesterday it has been back to work. *sigh* Good news at least. WooT! The sucky bonus-system they changed to, that more or less screwed us over royally... Now, however they have developed a new bonus-system. MUCH better! And only for the site here in this city. Might be because so many people left the company here when we got the new bonus-system and so many raised there voices. AND that two newspapers wrote about it to... Ehm. :-) At least they finally listened. I find that to be a good thing.

Talking about my job as a phone-person/answering machine. No one wants this job. Lets be honest. None wants to. It is considered to be a sucky job. BUT! Everyone wants to talk to a person, not a computer, when they call support-lines or booking-lines. No one wants the job, but everyone wants the job to exist. :-) I find that intresting. So, when next you talk to someone on a support line or some such.... Show some respect, eh? It might be the 50th call the person take, and they 20th time she gets the same question... ;-D

And shouldn't be.

Me and Peting has just seen a documentary series from BBC on DVD about Auschwitz. It was called Auschwitz: The Nazis and the Final Solution. I am still shivering. And HIGHLY pissed off. How? How can a normal human being go and work, torture and kill other human beings and then seconds later go home to his family and be a loving father.... HOW?

It was very intresting watching this with Peting. He is very very intrested in war-history, and especially the history of WWII. He could pin-point what important battles happend during what dates while the documentary only dealed with the horrors at Auschwitz and Birkenau. That way, I could partly understand some of the haste the Nazis had at certain times with there Final Solution.

It amazes me that an entire population of a country believes that yes, indeed. Everything is the Jews fault. Eh? ARGH! Of course, as Peting says, one shouldn't forget that Germany was a very, very poor country after WWI. They really got the rotten end of the deal, and the people were starving. Then comes Hitler with simple solutions, building things for the people, providing jobs, building homes. Of course they listened to him then. And then continued to do so. And.... Once you have said the same thing often enough... it becomes the truth. It is horrible. And that simple.

Thats why we should never EVER forget! We can't let anything like it happen again!

Ah... Bliss.... No work until monday. Thank you, Walpurgis! :-D I don't celebrate it much, but I do enjoy being off work, yes I do. I was supposed to be off thursday, work friday, be off saturday and sunday. Naturally I took friday off. Heaven. :-D Four days of freedom!!!!

Not much been going on. Had a wonderful time yesterday though, with my LARP-friend _devilcandy_. She is a member in this Club at The Makeup Store. And they had this evening where they showed off there products. Gave tips and ideas for makeup and sold alot of good stuff for 20% off the regular price. She asked me to come, which was more fun then I thought! I am not a makeup-person. I don't have much makeup on on a regular day. Unless on special occasions or parties. But makeup is fun to experiment with. And _devilcandy_ is very good at it to. Especially during the LARP-evenings. She can look really creepy.... It sure helps she is a great actor to. Hopefully she can give me a hand, or give me a few pointers on the next LARP. I wanna look creepy to! :-D
Naturally I shopped a little. Expensive, yes, but good stuff. Now I got it in my head to clean out and throw all old makeup away.

Talking about throwing old stuff away. Project for these days off.... CLEANING OUT MY BLOODY BOOKSHELF!!!! *grumble* A pile of comics feel out of it the other morning while I had breakfast and Peting just had fallen asleep after working all night. He was not pleased. :-P Neither was I! Annoying! Now my bookshelf is so full, stuff are falling out. This is not good. Something need to get done.

Talked to mom the other day to. Her knee's and legs are still bad, but she was very happy to. She, her sister and a workmate has started on this diet program together to lose weight. She gets pissed off when one mentions it, but truth be told, reason why her knee's has given up is that she weighs to much. I am no light-weigher either, but I am way taller then her and I move around much more. I really hope it works and she can stick to this... Might save her knee's.

On a totally different note, spicehobbit? Did you see the links for the SCARY good Bootstrap Bill costume? pktaxwench is AMAZING! And the costume looks it to. :-D
